Thank you to Kirsty Moseley for providing me with a free copy of this book in return for an honest review.

Amy has been in love with with a stranger since she first checked his ticket on her shift as a conductor. She looks forward to every other Monday when he gets on her train. When she finally bumps into him outside of work and he asks her on a date she feels like her luck is in. Now she finally has time to see the real man that she’s been falling in love with from behind the scenes.

I think that this book shows all of the things that Kirsty Moseley does best. Adorable and steamy romance, chuckle into your kindle humour and ALL THE FEELS. If there’s one thing Moseley can do, it’s lift your heart with a gorgeous story and then smash it to pieces.

I adored Amy as our heroine. She was clumsy, and sarcastic and very real. Same goes for Jared, he was funny and thoughtful and very romantic.

This is a really cute story about opposites attract with a hilarious twist that keeps you guessing for the rest of the story. It’s perfect for the rom-com readers who like to sit down and fall in love with the perfect book boyfriend.

All I Ask – Tamara Lush

alliask

Thank you to Tamara Lush for providing me with a free audiobook in return for an honest review.

All I ask is part of a multiple book series which I listened to as a standalone. But at no point did I not understand what was going on or who people were.

Princess Isabella of Montignac gets away from the stress of royalty by escaping to a paradise beach resort. Here, she meets Tate, brother of the hotel owner and environmental lawyer, a man who comes in handy after Isabella gets arrested.

This story was so unique and light hearted, it was a really refreshing read. Isabella was a brilliant character with a ‘Bridget Jones clumsy’ kind of feel. She’s a very strong heroine and her relationship with hero Tate was an interesting read.

Narrator Crystal Elm did a great job bringing the story to life and keeping it going. She kept me engaged and interested throughout the audiobook.

I also loved hearing about the other characters in this book and do look forward to reading about them in the future. I’ve not read any other books by Tamara Lush before but am definitely planning to in the future.

Breathless – Suzana Thompson

breathless

Thank you to Suzana Thompson for proving me with a free audiobook in return for an honest review.

Breathless follows on shortly after Thompson’s book, Heartless. Cade and Lexi have have some time away following an inconvenient incident causing them to break up. Now Lexi needs to make her mind up about him when she finds herself studying at the same college.

The previous book ended on such a cliffhanger that I was really looking forward to finding out what was in store for these two characters. Thompson moved the story along very well with the same characters remaining and others who were no longer in the story but are still mentioned and remembered. It was nice to read Cade and Lexi’s relationship progress from high school sweethearts to more mature lovers.

I would have liked to hear a little more about Cade’s backstories that weren’t really explained in the previous book, such as his relationship with his old school friends. The story was short and to the point though.

I’ve read a few Suzana Thompson books now and although I enjoyed this one I think it’s my least favourite I didn’t really feel like much happened. It just completed the story for the previous book and set the readers minds at rest. It was a lovely read though.
